Christchurch WoolFeast is quite possible the biggest yarny event on the South Island, and this year it’s better than ever. There will be 48 vendors there including us, so you’re sure to find whatever you’re seeking for knitting, crochet, and other fibre pursuits. It is a great chance to actually see and touch yarn, tools and more in person.
This year the event is at a great new space, the Pioneer Recreation and Sports Centre. The vendors will be across two basketball courts, with walkways at least 6 meters wide and plenty of space between vendors. So you can enjoy getting to see people in person without being too crowded in!
Help Others at WoolFeast
WoolFeast will collect donations for two great charities this year. Both are charities that help children in need.
Good Night Sleep Tight provide each nominated child with an individual pack containing pyjamas, singlet, dressing gown and slippers/bed socks plus sheets, comforter and blanket, along with a hat and a book to read at bedtime.
The Nest Collective gives packs of new, pre-loved, handcrafted and repurposed essentials including clothing, toys, nappies, bedding, books and more to babies and children in need.
