If you’re looking for a summer knit you can wear all year round, the Saltwater Sweater’s got you covered. It combines classic ribbed edging with a breezy open knot stitch to give the kind of texture us stitchers obsess over. This intermediate level project has a relaxed, cropped fit, with a crew neck and roomy sleeves.

You will knit this kit with Shiny Happy Cotton, which Wool and the Gang makes from hand-picked Pima cotton from Peru. Soft and sleek with beautiful drape, we offer it in a rainbow of colours! It is certified by the Vegan Society, meaning it’s free from animal ingredients and has not been tested on animals.

What You Will Need to Make the Saltwater Sweater Knitting Kit

1 pair of 3.5 mm knitting needles
1 pair of 5 mm knitting needles
- If you do not already have knitting needles, we recommend interchangeable circulars. If you prefer wood, KnitPro Symfonie Tips are a good choice. And for metal, we recommend KnitPro Zing Tips. You will also need a matching KnitPro Coloured Cable in 80 cm (60 will also work if 80 is unavailable).
