This lush, bouncy, tasselled blanket is toasty warm, looks fab on a sofa or at the bottom of your bed – and is suitable for absolute beginners! The chunky yarn and open fabric means this is fast to knit, so you can have your own snuggly blanket in less than a weekend’s work, with an estimated time to make of 8 hours. And the booklet and Wool and the Gang’s videos online will teach you everything you need to know, from how to hold your needles and cast on, all the way through to how to cast off and weave in your ends. This kit is knitted with Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool. Soft, chunky and super-easy to knit with, this yarn is perfect for winter woollies and accessories and snuggly blankets.

The blanket is knit flat, with no shaping, in garter stitch (if you are new, you will learn what this means!) and tassels are created by tying yarn ends together at the ends of your rows. At 120 cm x 160 cm (47″ x 63″) it is big enough to wrap yourself in when it is completed.

To care for your finished blanket:
Hand wash only in cold water – do not exceed 30 degrees / Use a delicates hand wash detergent / Give your knits a gentle squeeze and leave in the water for a few minutes / Once done, roll in a clean towel to remove excess water and then dry flat.
