Urth Yarns | Trill
NZ$34.00 inc GST
Trill combines the softness and colour saturation of superwash merino with the structure and breathability of linen in this yarn that is perfect for transitional seasons. The linen adds a slightly rustic, heathered look to add some visual texture, as well as both some structure and drape, and the linen will soften beautifully with wear. The yarn has a crisp stitch definition that allows cables and textured stitches to show clearly. Inspired by the beauty of birds, each colourway is named for a bird, and it sings when used standalone for rich colour, and harmonises perfectly with the gradient marls of Urth Yarns Spiral Grain Sport.
Trill Patterns
Trill is so shiny and new that patterns specifically for it are still being developed. It will work well in most yarns for 4 ply/fingering weight, especially those that are designed for merino/linen or merino/cotton blends, such as Andrea Mowry’s Antipodes Sweater. Urth has also developed a range of accessories for it, which include the Sarma Scarf, Linka Tie, Ribster Hat, and Warble Cowl. Kits will be made available for these soon!
