What You Need to Make Squared Up Baby Jacket

To make this pattern, you will need

• 1 to 3 skeins of Urth Yarns Uneek Fingering, to get the wonderful multi-coloured effect in the sample photos 
• a 2.75 to 3.00mm (US C-2 to D) crochet hook, or as needed to get gauge
• scissors
• darning needle to weave in ends

While the pattern is written for Uneek Fingering, you could also use Urth Yarns Monokrom Fingering for a more tonal effect. As Uneek and Monokrom are a long-repeat varigated yarn, the colour will work up in long sections of colour that form into random rings. If the randomness of the colour placement bothers you, consider swapping each skein of Uneek for a box of Urth Yarns Uneek Sock: each kit has 100 grams of yarn divided into 2 perfectly matched 50g balls, so as long as you follow the same order on each side, you are guaranteed a match in colour placement!
