Urth Yarns | Ribster Hat Kit
NZ$40.50 inc GST
This kit includes a skein of Urth Yarns Trill merino linen blend, and the PDF pattern, so you can whip up this simple and elegant ribbed hat.
This fitted beanie combines clean lines and subtle details with modern styling for a sleek and urban essential with a refined, timeless look. This classic look is ideal for everyday wear, simple, balanced, and quietly confident, it will dress up and down and fit into a contemporary wardrobe.
The included yarn, Urth Yarns Trill, is a combination of superwash merino and linen, that features both the softness and colour saturation of merino and the structure and breathability of linen. The linen adds a slightly rustic, heathered look to add some visual texture, as well as both some structure and drape, and the linen will soften beautifully with wear. The yarn has a crisp stitch definition that allows cables and textured stitches to show clearly, which works well with the 2×2 ribbing in this hat.
The yarn is held double which means it knits up faster, and the top-down construction makes it easy to customize the length and fit as you knit.
The samples are shown in Raven (black), Phoenix (red), and Macaw (blue).

About Pufido Knits and Urth Yarns
Yiğitcan is the person behind Pufido Knits, a Turkish queer knitwear designer based in Berlin. There was always someone who was knitting in their home, so they first picked up knitting needles as a child, and their mom and aunt taught them a lot about knitting. And from that moment they fell in love with this magical craft. Yiğitcan studied textile design and their designs usually focus on unexpected details, striking forms & attitude. They are always seeking something new and trying to develop the ideas, and they love to play with colors using several techniques, and enjoy bringing traditional elements alive in their designs using a modern perspective.
Urth Yarns employ female artisans in Mersin and Istanbul to hand dye their yarn, and use innovative dyeing techniques in order to ensure the yarn is full of vibrant colour. Urth Yarns has partnered with Trees for the Future to run their Knit One Plant One scheme – for every skein you purchase, a tree is planted, which means This amazing yarn is good for you and good for the world!
