Harvest Worsted is a wonderful soft superwash merino, dyed using plant extracts to create a range of rich semi-solid jewel tones.
Harvest Worsted is a wonderful soft superwash merino, dyed using plant extracts to create a range of rich semi-solid jewel tones. It is the same yarn as Uneek Worsted and Monokrom Worsted and the palettes are designed to work perfectly together. But Harvest is also fantastic when used by itself or in colourwork. Uneek works perfectly alongside it, as seen in the amazing Papillon shawl, but always works perfectly on its own.Â
Soft, smooth, with a hint of lustre, this yarn is a delight to work with.
Harvest Worsted Patterns
If you’re looking for other ideas of what to make with Harvest Fingering, Urth Yarns has several suggestions for inspiration!
If you like the Papillon shawl but wish it was a blanket, your dream has come true! Marin Melchior has designed the Chromatophore blanket, which uses Uneek Worsted and Harvest Worsted (as opposed to the fingering-weight versions in the shawl) to create a beautiful blanket that will brighten up any room.
The Color Your Pixels scarf pattern by Alina Appasova is an interesting knit that looks more complicated than it is. It combines Uneek Worsted with Harvest Worsted.
