How to Use a Wooden Shawl Pin and Ring

There are a couple of different ways you can use this set to keep your shawl in place. In each scenario, first place the ring where you want it to go. In some circumstances, you will want to thread the stick through the stitches in your fabric in order to hold it in place. For something that is more tightly woven, you may wish to thread the ends of your shawl through the ring above the pin, over the pin, and then back through the ring under the pin.
