Description
The Papillon Shawl Pattern is wildly popular, and for good reason! This stunning work of art is done entirely with knit stitch and short rows, with (believe it or not!) no colourwork of any kind other than stripes. Use two skeins of Urth Uneek colour-changing yarn and 1 skein of contrast solid in Urth Harvest, and watch as the colour-changes work with the short rows to create vivid pools of colour.
Alternatively, use between 2 and 7 colours of your choice to create amazing rippled stripes. The one in the main photo is Urth Harvest in Buckthorn, and Urth Uneek in 3004. The one we had displayed at Woolfest is Urth Harvest in Thuja, and Urth Uneek in 3004. Check projects on Ravelry for other colour inspirations!
