This lofty yarn is humanely grown in Argentina and spun from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, sustainable, non-mulesed, pesticide-free organic merino wool. Patagonia Organic Merino yarn is both hearty and soft and has a lovely bloom after it is washed. It has not been superwash treated, and has a slightly sheepier feel than most merino yarns, but is still suitable against the skin. Its loftiness means it makes wonderful warm cozy sweaters and accessories, and that slight extra stickiness means it is fantastic for colourwork.
Patagonia Organic Merino yarn has fans around the world. They love it for the way it softens up and blooms after washing, for its grippiness and for its quality/price/value ratio. If you are looking for a yarn to give your project a rustic feel, take this one for a spin.
