Hedgehog Fibres Sock Minis are, like their bigger parent Sock Yarn, fingering weight superwash yarns made from 90% 21.5 micron merino wool and 10% nylon. Because the yarn is mulesing-free, you know the sheep it comes from have been well cared for. And it shows in the yarn, which is soft and durable with beautiful dyeing.

Sock Minis Colour Notes

Because Hedgehog Fibres hand-dyes Sock Minis, there can be considerable variation between skeins. If you want more detail, email us and we’re happy to answer questions or take photos of our current stock in a specific colourway! Also, if you use more than one skein of the same colourway in the same project, we recommend alternating skeins for a consistent look.

Sock Minis Patterns

The reversible Bluegrass Shawl pattern can be a stashbuster or an opportunity to use several different colours of Sock Minis. It is knit on the bias, so you’ll have fewer stitches to count – and it has a fringe so you won’t need to weave in ends.

The Taos Socks pattern by Briana Arlene incorporate an eye catching mosaic pattern and are perfect for an assortment of Sock Mini colours, a stashbuster or a mix!
