Gleener | Sweater Saver Multi-Fabric Comb

The Gleener Sweater Saver is a compact comb designed to be tossed into a purse or pocket as the ultimate portable version of the well-loved Gleener fabric shaver. It uses the same finish as the medium edge in the full-sized Gleener 3-edge shaver, designed to remove pilling, bobbles, and fuzz from medium-weight fabrics like cashmere, merino, finer knits, fleece, wool coats, and more across clothing, upholstery, and home textiles.

The Gleener range is battery or electricity free, so it is always ready to work for you, and as it doesn’t use sharp blades that run the risk of cutting the underlying fabric, it can help preserve the life of your textile. Buy less often and get the most joy and the longest life from your favourite clothing and home textiles by making them last longer.

It is also made from post-consumer recycled plastic so that you are extending the life of the plastic while you extend the life of your garments.

It works well on cashmere, merino, wool, fleece, acrylic, polyester, medium-weight knits, synthetic blends, and wool blends, so it can be used for refreshing cashmere sweaters, merino garments, finer knits, fleece outerwear, chunky knit scarves, winter socks, wool coats, indoor/outdoor furniture, cushions, and more.

It is not recommended for flannel, burnout fabrics, ultra-thin or sheer t-shirts, embroidery, embellishments, intentional textures, very loose weaves, or damaged fabrics with holes or loose threads.
