DMC Happy Cotton Patterns

Looking for amigurumi supplies, patterns and tools? Find everything you need, from safety eyes to crochet hooks to pattern books, in our Crochet Critters section.

You can make other things besides amigurumi, too! The free Wingello Washcloth patter is a spin on a granny square motif that is suitable for beginners. The free Duckling granny square pattern is a block that you can use in a larger blanket – and designer Wiam’s Crafts has made other free block patterns in other animal motifs, too!

About DMC

DMC was founded in France in 1746. They were a favourite of Thérèse de Dillmont, the legendary Austrian fibre artist who wrote the famous “Encyclopedia of Needlework.” Dillmont also wrote many patterns for DMC over the years – and would probably be delighted at the innovations that have taken place in the years since!
