This delightful hand dyed yarn is soft, with an airy, light feel. The linen adds subtle texture and structure without adding scratchiness and the higher resistance to dye results in a gentle heathered effect, which Circus Tonic’s layed dying technique works wonders with. The yarn is a versatile choice for garments and accessories, with the single spun construction meaning it has beautiful drape and flow, and it creates beautiful lace and stocking stitch with a smooth yet plump surface, with a slight halo. Use for slinky tees and tops and lacey shawls and accessories.

All Circus Tonic colours are designed for and kept exclusive for each store, meaning our Queens Collection colourways can only be found right here! We chose Queens for our theme, and the names include those of queens and empresses from all around the world and all across time, as well as a few extra playful spins on the theme (I see what you did there with Freddie Mercury!) Colours are carefully chosen to ensure complementary choices and beautiful fades are all possible.

Circus Tonic is hand dyed in small batches by Hannah Ginn, in Australia, from yarns sourced all over the world. Hannah, a former molecular geneticist, specialises in carefully layering colour to create depth and interest, from her glazed tonals through to her speckles or variegates, and she draws inspiration from the natural world around her.
