Squishy is just that, squishy. It is a super soft blend of superwash merino, cashmere, and nylon with a springy twist. The cashmere is what gives this yarn is luxuriousness, with this yarn being the kind of yarn that you touch, stop, and make that “ohhhhh” before picking it up to, you know, squish it. We’ve never seen anyone not purr in delight when they feel this!
When knitted up it retains its softness to the touch, and has a wonderful drape that has that perfect combination of bouncy and snuggly. We recommend this yarn for socks, sweaters, scarves, shawls, cowls, gloves, hats, blankets, and everything else. Honestly, this yarn is great for just about everything! These colours are a beautiful, saturated, semi-solid that works up with subtle variations.
This yarn is featured in Epaulette, the new cardigan from Hanging Rock Roost releasing at 9pm NZT on 17 October! To celebrate the launch we are offering $10 off per skein, and if you order 3 or more skeins, you can order the pattern for free! Click here to find the Epaulette pattern and add it to your cart to complete your kit.
Anzula is based in the US, and every one of their luxurious yarns is hand dyed. This privately-owned business was built out a garage (aren’t all the good ones?) and now has a small team of around four people. Every skein continues to be hand-dyed, hand wound, and dried in the California sun.
Anzula have over 120 colours and around 20 bases to choose from, and we can take orders in any quantity of any combination at any time, even a single skein! Get in touch if you can’t see what you want here!
