Haiku is a beautiful, versatile yarn that takes color vibrantly and has a subtle sheen. The combination of bamboo and merino makes this yarn soft and springy with a touch of drape, and a touch of nylon adds strength for long lasting socks. As a bonus, it dries very quickly, making it perfect for light weight sweaters, shawls, accessories, blankets, and socks.

And introducing Anzula’s new veiled colourways: this unique dye technique sees the finished skein partly overdyed in black to give a unique variegated look.

Notes on Haiku Colours

Most of the colour photos are taken on a different base yarn, Cricket. Be aware each base takes the colour differently and as the yarn is hand dyed it varies between skeins. If you have any questions, we are happy to help. The main item photo shows Haiku in Veiled Peacock, also used in the sock sample.

Haiku Pattern Ideas

The Squash Blossom Hat by Irmian Design is a light slouchy beanie that lives up to its name!
