This shawl is a great introduction to lace, with a delicate but simple lace border on a body of bouncy garter stitch. The size is big enough to cover your shoulders, but small enough to wrap easily around your neck if you prefer. A great tv or social knit when working on the garter stitch body, this is a lovely choice for gifting. It is designed for Zealana Kiwi Lace, which  combines the softness of brushtail possum with merino and cotton to make a yarn that is soft, light, smooth, and great for transitional seasons.

What You Need to Make Squall Shawl

This listing is for the pattern only. To make this you need:

• 3 balls of Zealana Kiwi Lace, or you can subsitute a 2-ply/lace weight yarn of your choice, you will need around 594 metres (651 yards)
• 4.00 mm (US 6) circular needles with a 150 cm cable
