Slouchy Long Hat: The slouchy hat has become the new trendy style, and this one is especially easy to knit up. It uses one skein of Urth Harvest Worsted yarn. This is a quick and easy pattern if you’re looking for something to create for yourself, a friend, a coworker, or your favourite hardworking barista. (Or all of the above!)
Glitch Hat: Make this one for your favourite geek! The glitch hat uses Hedgehog Fibres sock yarn to create an effect that’s very similar to the look when digital video glitches out.
Slipped Hat: You may think this is stranded colourwork, but it’s actually mosaic knitting, which is much easier to execute. It’s slouchy for a relaxed look and has a double-sided band to keep your ears extra warm. It uses Zealana Cozi, which is traditionally a sock yarn but works just as well on your head. Top it with a pompom for a bit of extra style! We have a pompom maker to help you make one.
Jana’s Hat: This uses Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles doubled over. The defined stitch patterns give the pattern a lot of texture and depending on which skeins you choose, you could also have colour variations to create additional visual interest.
Queer Joe’s Simple Hat: This hat looks complicated, but it’s actually really simple. As designer DoublePointed Designs says, “the yarn does most of the work.” The colour changes built into Urth Uneek Worsted yarn give this the kind of visual interest that is sure to lead to lots of comments!
Chunky Air Hat: The Chunky Air Hat has gorgeous cabling around the head that allows you to show off your cabling skills. It uses luxurious Zealana Air, an ultrasoft yarn which will keep your head warm all winter long.

Reversible Double-Thick Beanie: You can get several different looks out of this beanie. It requires worsted weight yarn and we’d recommend Zealana Heron for it.
Rapids Beanie: This hat is simple, thick and warm. It uses double crochet to work up quickly. The beanie also has an interesting texture that is sure to get a lot of compliments. It requires a worsted weight yarn like Wool and the Gang Feeling Good.

Flux Hat: Because it uses Urth Uneek Worsted yarn, this hat has built-in colour changes that create an eye-catching effect. It’s knit in the round using a long-tail cast off and a series of decreases at the crown. A pompom at the top adds a bit of flash (and we have a pompom maker to help with that).
Maggie Hat: Wool and the Gang designed this hat to be easy to knit and perfect for the knitter who is still starting out. It knits up quickly and has beautiful colour contrast. If you get the Maggie Hat kit, the pattern comes free!
Brianna Hat: This absolutely gorgeous slouchy hat uses the self-striping Urth Uneek Worsted yarn and the solid Urth Harvest Worsted for a brilliant contrast that gives it extra style and panache. It is an easy hat to knit, so if you’re a beginner that wants to knit something that doesn’t look beginner-y, this may be the pattern you’re looking for.
Tīrama tīrama pōtae: This mosaic hat has a unique look that you won’t find anywhere else. It was specifically designed with the Māori holiday Matariki in mind, but is also perfect for day-to-day wear. There’s sizing for children and adults, so if you want you can make hats for the whole family!

Jenni Tunisian Hat: This one probably won’t be as quick as many others on the list, but the result is remarkable enough to warrant the extra time. It uses Urth Uneek Worsted and Urth Harvest Worsted to create gorgeous faceted colourwork. Because of the way it is crocheted, the resulting hat is much stiffer and sturdier than your average crocheted hat, and is especially good for colder climates.
Ainsley Beanie: It’s easy, it’s fast, and it is, as they say in California, hella cute. It uses Monokrom Worsted, which has built-in colour variations that add interesting complexity to the look of this beanie.
